Fence construction

Our first field trip for 2016 involved building fences to measure the impact of grazing on Yantabulla Swamp.

We were able to do this experiment thanks to the generousity of Comeroo Camel Station and Kia Ora.

In addition to building fences, we also surveyed some wetland locations to calculate the height of the channels of the floodplain. When we scale up this project, we will be able to measure the volume of water required to flood Yantabulla Swamp.

Thanks Dave for coming out as a field assistant.

Until next time!
