Surveying vegetation

We have been working hard at Naree to complete our vegetation plots, measuring the effect of creating reserves such as Naree on vegetation. Winter annuals are thriving after recent rains and making us work hard to identify them all.

We are measuring grazing of key species over time, which involves measuring plants great and small.

It has been great to see the small floods run into Yantabulla Swamp and give us a taste for what this system is like when there is water about.

We will continue to monitor these sites over the coming years.
