Arid field season off to a roaring start in 2016

The 2016 field season has kicked off with a big start for researchers in the Landscape Ecology group at the CES. This March they have two field trips of 3-5 weeks to arid regions of Australia. You can read updates on these trips here:

Shrub Encroachment and Native Mammal Decline

This March is turning out to be a scorcher with temperatures over 40 degrees in some of our sampling sites. We wish our researchers all the best in these trying conditions!

These trips rely heavily on volunteers. Please follow the contact details on the pages if you are interested in volunteering and visiting some very special parts of Australia.
